“The MGIS program really caters to students at many different points in their careers, and embraces individual needs. My early career shift from community development to GIS was enhanced by building on my existing skills rather than starting afresh. Being comfortable in applying GIS to community development as well as the technical aspects of GI Science gave me an edge in my job search.”

Jessica Deegan
MGIS 2004 GIS Specialist, GIS Office, Twin Cities Metropolitan Council
